Goals
Hi all,
It is my goal to list at least 20 items on Etsy by Thanksgiving Day, so I have been very busy lately! I am hoping this kick will help me jumpstart on the interwebs with the holidays approaching. I think it's the perfect launching point for me, and I can already see improvements in details and the ways I work. For instance, I automatically began signing my name neater and the same for each piece...which makes me happy because my subconscious is prouder of my efforts now, or something like that.
Anyway, I just spent some time writing my profile statement for Etsy and I thought I would share. Feedback is welcomed!
~~Trish
P.S. I will be getting over a dozen pieces back from the kiln tomorrow night - exciting!

I am passionate about pottery and create wheel-thrown and hand-built pieces. Art is integral to my life and clay is my favorite medium because something so shifting can be transformed into so many beautiful things.
I have a streamlined aesthetic and add elements with purpose. I play close attention to good design striving for pieces that are functional, light-weight and comfortable to hold. Nature and the ratios found in nature inspire me, and I am mesmerized by textures, glazes and oxides.
Each of my unique pieces is thrown on the wheel or assembled by hand and is hand-decorated. With the exception of the potter’s wheel, I do not use any automated tools or molds. Speed and uniformity are not primary objectives, I create pottery out of love entirely. My goal is to create objects with a human element and personal touch that enrich daily life.
